Valve fixes instant bomb explosion bug

On the night of April 14, Valve released a minor CS:GO update, as a result of which the bug causing the bomb to explode immediately after it was planted was fixed. The CS developers published the news on their Twitter.

We’ve shipped an update to address a recent instant bomb explosion exploit. Thanks to all who reported this.

If this continues in your matches going forward please email [email protected] using the title "bomb exploit". Please include your Steam ID, the map this took place on, and the final score of the match so we can investigate.

The last major CS:GO update took place at the end of March 2022. Then the developers changed the Ember and Vineyard maps, which are played in the "Danger Zone" mode.
