FURIA and MIBR make it to PGL Major Antwerp 2022

Following the results of the third round at the Americas RMR tournament, the first tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022 have been secured by FURIA and MIBR, who won all of their matches and now go 3-0.

FURIA earned their third victory in the meeting against Complexity (16:7 on Ancient and 16:11 on Vertigo), while MIBR managed to beat Imperial (12:16 on Inferno, 16:8 on Vertigo and 16:10 on Nuke). On April 14, the winners will battle for a spot in the Legends Stage.

Today’s matchday, April 12, also saw some teams being kicked out of the qualifier. In the elimination matches, Leviatan lost to TeamOne (13:16 on Inferno and 17:19 on Mirage) and Bad News Bears suffered a defeat to 9z (11:16 on Inferno and 13:16 on Overpass).

In the fourth round of the Americas RMR, the matches of which will take place tomorrow, April 13, twelve teams will continue the fight for making it to the Major. The participants are now divided into the 2-1 (Complexity, Imperial, Evil Geniuses, Sao Caetano, Party Astronauts, Liquid) and 1-2 (paiN, 00NATION, Isurus, 9z, Case, TeamOne) groups.
