PGL announces first Americas RMR matchups

Tournament operator PGL has unveiled the list of opening matches for the Americas RMR event. The regional qualifier for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 is set to take place from April 11 to 15.

The teams will battle for eight tickets to the Major in the Swiss system group. At the same time, only one team taking the first place in the event will earn the spot in the Legends Stage of the upcoming Valve’s tournament.

The opening matches of the Americas RMR:

 FURIA –  Leviatan
 Party Astronauts –  Isurus
 Case –  Bad News Bears
 Imperial –  Sao Caetano
 Evil Geniuses –  paiN
 Liquid –  00NATION
 Complexity –  TeamOne
 MIBR –  9z

In addition to the tickets to the Major, the teams will compete for a total prize pool of $50,000, with the winner taking half of this amount.
