I joined fnatic on a short-term basis. I need time to find mutual understanding within the team and get to know all the teammates better. We'll see what happens after that. <...> I’ve felt great from the very beginning, so I’m looking forward to what the future brings us. I hope to stay in fnatic for as long as possible, but not everything is up to me. We'll see.

In the fnatic roster, Vasilev played on the professional scene for the first time in six months. The AWPer believes that the long absence of competitive practice has boosted his motivation.

I hope everyone could see how much I missed competitive matches. This hunger helps me on the server. I want to win and do everything so that the whole team succeeds. This is my main motivation.

Over the past month, together with poizon fnatic qualified for the European RMR and advanced to the ESL Pro League Season 15 playoffs. In the Round 12 of the prestigious league, Alex "ALEX" McMeekin's team will take on ENCE. The match will take place tomorrow, April 5, and will kick off at 16:30 MSK.
