Rare Atom defeat TYLOO to book EPL S16 Conference berth

Rare Atom, previously known as ViCi until the recent rebranding, will take part in EPL S16 Conference. The Chinese roster secured the spot in the tournament by winning the regional qualifier ESL Challenger League Season 40.

During the Asia-Pacific qualifier, Rare Atom did not lose a single match. In the decisive playoff rounds, Zhuo "advent" Liang's team twice defeated their crosstown rivals TYLOO.

EPL S16 Conference, where Rare Atom will show up, will be held from July 15 to 20 in Sweden. It will also be the final qualifying tournament for the sixteenth season of the ESL Pro League.

At the moment, five of the sixteen teams to participate in EPL S16 Conference have been confirmed. In addition to Rare Atom, these are the winners of the last ESL Challenger season for Europe (Sprout), North America (paiN) and Australia (Looking For Org), as well as the champion of ESL Challenger February 2022 (Virtus.pro).
