BIT takes over as MIBR head coach

The legendary Brazilian in-game leader Bruno "BIT" Lima has announced the beginning of his coaching career. His first team in the new role will be MIBR, which he repreented in CS 1.6 from 2007 to 2008.

BIT first announced his intentions of becoming a coach on February 1 of this year, having retired as a professional player. For the past two years he played for 9z.

On the MIBR coaching staff, Lima joined Renato "nak" Nakano, who has replaced Alessandro "⁠Apoka⁠" Marcucci as a head coach after the latter parted ways with the club in January. In turn, nak will now return to the duties of the team's strategic coach.

With BIT on board, the Brazilian team will make their debut in the North American ESL Challenger League Season 40 grand final, which is scheduled to take place on the night of April 3. Their opponent in the match for the championship title and a spot in EPL Conference S16 will be the winner of the paiN – Carpe Diem matchup.
