maLeK⁠ to miss ESL Pro League Season 15 group stage

Evil Geniuses' coach Damien "⁠maLeK⁠" Marcel will miss the ESL Pro League Season 15 group stage due to the neccessity to travel to France for non-COVID-19 related treatment, the organization announced on Twitter.

During Marcel's absence, the North American squad will be coached by assistant coach Paolo "EVY" Berbudo. With the standing in assistant, the team made its debut at the ongoing ESL Pro League season and lost to Astralis.

maLeK⁠ will join EG in Düsseldorf, Germany, where the prestigious league is taking place, if the squad makes it to the playoffs. The decisive stage of the tournament will be held from April 6 to 10.

In Group C, Evil Geniuses have four more matches to go, which will be playing out every day from March 31 to April 3. The sequence of the team's opponents is as follows: NAVI, Heroic, Complexity and AGO.

In the ESL Pro League Season 15 group stage  EG will compete with the following lineup:
