REZ suffers severe burns of feet

Fredrik "REZ" Sterner, a player of NIP, has been hospitalized with severe burns to his legs, his girlfriend shared on Twitter.

The esports athlete was injured as a result of dumping boiling water with potatoes on himself. The player's girlfriend noted that he feels fine and did not hurt his hands, but the skin on his legs was partially peeled off.

The news about Sterner's injury appeared two weeks before NIP's match in the ESL Pro League Season 15 playoffs. The Scandinavian team will start the decisive stage of the prestigious league from the quarterfinals, which will take place on April 7 or 8.

NIP secured the spot in the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 15 thanks to their victory in Group A. Hampus "hampus" Poser's team won five out of six matches played, having suffered the only defeat in the last match against G2.
