Women's ESL Impact invitees announced

Tournament operator ESL has officially announced the list of direct invitees to the first season of the women's league, which will be held from March 17 to June 5. The event with a prize pool of $150,000 was named ESL Impact.

At the initial stage, the tournament will be divided into European, North American and South American regions, each of which will feature eight teams. The squads that received direct invites are Nigma Galaxy and GODSENT (Europe), CLG Red and Little Bocks (North America), FURIA and another currently unknown lineup (South America).

The final list of participants in the regional stage of ESL Impact will be unveiled after the end of the open qualifiers. The qualifying competitions will be held in each of the regions from March 8 to 12.

As previously announced, the ESL Impact finals will take place on June 3-5 as part of the DreamHack Open Dallas 2022 festival. The top two teams from the three regions named above will make it to the tournament. Two more rosters will receive spots based on the Wild Card system for South Africa, Oceania and Asia.
