G2 CEO: m0NESY spent 11% of his life in CS:GO
G2's AWPer Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov tweeted about reaching the mark of 15,000 hours spent in CS:GO. The tweet of the 16-year-old Russian was commented on by G2's CEO Carlos "ocelote" Rodriguez, who calculated that the player spent 11% of his life in the shooter by Valve.
It is important to note that Osipov spent not all of these hours directly playing the game, since Steam starts counting the time immediately after the launch of the CS:GO client.
In response to a question from a Twitter user, m0NESY added that he started playing CS:GO at the age of nine. At the same time, his introduction to Counter-Strike happened at the age of five, when he first played CS 1.6.
m0NESY began his professional career in 2020 after joining NAVI Junior. In early 2022, the player was sold to G2. According to insiders, the amount of the transfer added up to $600,000.
