NiKo becomes best player of IEM Katowice 2022 group stage

G2's leader Nikola "NiKo" Kovač finished the group stage of IEM Katowice 2022 with the best statistics among all participants. The rating of the Bosnian on eleven maps amounted to 1.50.

In addition to Kovač, the top three players of the group stage also included Heroic's Martin "stavn" Lund and Gambit's Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov, who were rated 1.35 and 1.34, respectively.

The worst performance in terms of statistics came from Copenhagen Flames' IGL Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen – 0.67 over five maps. Lucas "gla1ve" Rossander (0.79), Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer (0.80) and Richard "shox" Papillon (0.81) rounded out the rating of the worst performers.

The IEM Katowice 2022 playoffs will kick off on February 25 with the quarterfinal matches FaZe – Gambit and Virtus.pro – G2. NAVI and Heroic, who became the winners of their groups, will continue the competition for the trophy from the semis.
