hooch: No one will underestimate Entropiq at IEM Katowice 2022

Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov, a coach of Entropiq, is positive that during IEM Katowice 2022, his team's opponents will not underestimate his players, as was often the case last year. The specialist spoke about this at the press conference ahead of the Play-In stage of the prestigious tournament.

This is our second big tournament after the Major. V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 was a serious championship, but IEM Katowice 2022 is a completely different level. No one will underestimate Entropiq here. It is very important for us to establish ourselves as a good offline team. Previously, opponents did not realize that we could be strong at LAN events. At the Major, several teams made this mistake. Last year, we already felt how other teams were preparing for matches against us more seriously. Now that Entropiq has played a lot of matches, everyone will watch the demos.

During the conversation with journalists, Bogdanov also shared his opinion on the recently announced merger of Europe and the CIS into one region for the Major qualifiers. He does not consider this change to be positive, as many strong teams are at risk of missing out on the Valve's tournament.

I'm not sure this is a good decision. The open qualifiers will be a mess that will pull many favorites down. As for teams from the CIS, I hope that as many representatives of our region as possible will make it to the RMR event and we will show that the CIS is the strongest region in the world.

Entropiq will start off at IEM Katowice 2022 from the Play-In stage. The team will face off against ENCE tomorrow, February 15, at 13:00 MSK.
