Kyojin enters free agency

French player Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van, who has been benched in Vitality for the last month, has become a free agent, the esports athlete and the organization announced on their social media.

Kyojin has represented Vitality since April last year. The biggest achievements of the team during this period were the victory at the recent LAN tournament IEM Winter 2021, the second places at ESL Pro League Season 14 and BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021, as well as making it to the top-8 of the last Major – PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

At the moment, the 22-year-old Frenchman has yet to announce any further plans regarding his career in CS:GO. According to previously published rumors, LDLC was interested in the player's services after his exclusion from Vitality's starting five.

After the reshuffle in Vitality, which took place in January, the team was joined by the trio of former Astralis members Emil "Magisk" Reif, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen. In turn, in addition to Kyojin, Richard "shox" Papillon and Remy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam also left the squad.
