Dates of RMR tournaments for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 announced
Tournament operator PGL on its official website has unveiled the schedule of RMR events, which will determine the participants of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. The qualifiers for the three regions will be held from the studios from April 11 to 24 in Bucharest.
For the European region, where the CIS teams will play from now on, there will be two qualifying events.
The schedule for the RMR events:
Americas RMR (16 teams): April 11-14
Asia RMR (4 teams): April 15-16
Europe RMR A (16 teams): April 17-20
Europe RMR B (16 teams): April 21-24
According to Valve's new rules, all teams, regardless of how they performed at the previous Major, must qualify for the first Major in 2022. The only advantage of the squads that have done well at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 will be the direct invite to the upcoming RMR events.

The dates for the open qualifiers have also been announced. The qualifying tournaments will be held online starting February 19. The dates for the Asian qualifiers are currently unknown.

Following the qualifying cycle, 24 teams will make it to PGL Major Antwerp 2022. The tournament will take place from May 9 to 22 in Belgium, where the participants will compete for a total prize pool of $1 million.
