tarik parts ways with Evil Geniuses
American player Tarik "tarik" Celik has left Evil Geniuses. The organization announced this on its Twitter account.
Celik has been benched for the last eight months. During a year and a half with the American on board, the club's biggest achievements were victories at ESL One New York 2019, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8, BLAST Premier Spring 2020 American Finals and ESL One Cologne 2020 North America.
Evil Geniuses announced the departure of tarik amid drastic changes that the roster is currently undergoing. In early November, the organization parted ways with Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, Owen "oBo" Schlatter and Michał "MICHU" Müller, while the potential newcomers, according to insiders, are ex-player Liquid Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, Timothy "autimatic" Ta, who has recently returned from Valorant, and Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså from OG.
