dupreeh, Magisk and zonic leave Astralis

Astralis has announced the departure of Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Emil "Magisk" Reif and coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen.

The announcement on Twitter came almost two months after the Danish trio went inactive as a result of a massive reshuffle. In early November, the players and coach were replaced by Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and Alexander "ave" Holdt.

dupreeh and zonic have represented Astralis since the organization's inception in 2016 and have won numerous prestigious tournaments, including four Majors. Magisk joined the roster in 2018 and together with the team got three Majors under his belt.

The titled Danes did not specify where exactly they will pursue their careers. Earlier, several reputable media reported on their agreement with Vitality, who the trio will join before the start of 2022 as free agents.

According to journalists, in the French organization Rasmussen, Reif and Sørensen will join Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier and Dan "apEX" Madesclair. Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van and coach Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam are expected to leave the team following the departure of Richard "shox" Papillon.
