EliGE becomes co-owner of Liquid

Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, a member of Liquid’s CS:GO roster, has become one of the co-owners of the American organization, having bought a number of shares needed for this. This was reported by Digiday, citing an exclusive comment from the organization's CEO Steve Archanset.

According to the information published, four more people have also joined the list of co-owners: esports athlete in Super Smash Bros. Juan "Hungrybox" DeBiedma, actor Asa Butterfield, professional poker player Alexander Veldhuis and WNBA star Aerial Powers. The amount of the investments attracted has not been disclosed, but it is known that they had the opportunity to buy a bigger share in the company than what is needed for becoming a co-owner.

As of the end of 2020, Liquid was estimated at $310 million by Forbes. The organization is present in more than ten of the most popular esports disciplines.

According to insiders, next year Liquid will announce a new CS:GO lineup, which will be built around EliGE. Later, Keith "NAF" Markovic also extended his contract with the team, while Nick "nitr0" Cannella, Richard "shox" Papillon and Josh "oSee" Ohm are the rumored members of the new squad.
