Full list of IEM Katowice 2022 invitees unveiled

The tournament operator ESL has announced eight teams that will start IEM Katowice 2022 from the group stage. The invitees from the European and North American regions were determined based on the ESL Pro Tour rating following IEM Winter 2021.

In the group stage, NAVI, Gambit, G2, Vitality, Heroic and Virtus.pro will represent Europe, while Liquid and FURIA are the leaders of the ESL rating of North America.

NIP, Astralis, FaZe, GODSENT, TYLOO, Renegades, Wisla Krakow and MIBR have previously secured spots in the play-in stage. Eight more berths are to be contested.

IEM Katowice 2022 with a prize pool of $1 million will take place from February 15 to 27. During the play-in and group stage, teams will play from the studio, while the Spodek Arena, which accommodates 11,000 people, will host the playoffs.
