FURIA part ways with honda

FURIA have announced the departure of Lucas "honda" Cano. The Brazilian player thus entered free agency.

honda started his journey in FURIA in January this year, when the club moved him from the academy to the main roster. For six months together with the 21-year-old esports athlete, the team did not achieve significant success, and their best result at big tournaments was the 5-8th place at cs_summit 7.

In August, honda returned to FURIA Academy, while Andre "drop" Abreu from the academy was invited to replace honda in the starting five. Subsequently, Cano took part in several tournaments for youth squads, including the online part of WePlay Academy League Season 2, following which the Brazilians did not manage to make it to the LAN final.

honda tweeted that in 2022 he intends to play in Europe. According to Rush B Media, the player can join the new squad of Case – the team of soccer player Casemiro from Real Madrid.
