Five teams lost their chances to advance to the playoffs after the second matchday at IEM Fall 2021

Following the second matchday of the group stage of the IEM Fall 2021 CIS RMR tournament, which included third and four-round matches, the main outsiders of the two groups have been determined. AVE and Akuma from Group A lost their chances of continuing to compete in the playoffs, while K23, forZe and Unique also leave the competition for good finishing at the bottom of Group B.

Group A saw NAVI and Nemiga winning two matches, while Entropiq and Team Spirit gained three points each, and AVE and Akuma lost all of their encounters. In Group B, INDE IRAE moved through the matchday without losses, Virtus.pro, K23, forZe and Gambit managed to get one victory each, unlike Unique, who did not earn any points.

The final matches of the group stage will be held tomorrow, October 1. The matchups of Group A start off at 16:45 MSK (NAVI - Team Spirit, Nemiga - Entropiq, Akuma - AVE). Right after these, the matches of Group B (Virtus.pro - forZe, Gambit - Unique , K23 - INDE IRAE) will take place at 18:00 MSK.
