ViCi refused to participate in BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021

ViCi will not take part in BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021, HLTV.org reports. The Chinese turned down the previously earned slot due to participation in the Asian RMR tournament IEM Fall 2021, the dates of which make it impossible for the team to come to Europe.

IEM Fall 2021 Asia will take place on October 5-10, while the BLAST tournament on 12-17 of the same month. Thus, Zhuo "advent" Liang’s squad would have to fly to Europe, where the Showdown tournament will be held, within one day.

Lynn Vision, who finished second in the regional qualifier, will take ViCi’s place at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021.

In the upcoming Fall Showdown 2021, Lynn Vision will face off against fifteen teams. The participants will compete for two slots in the final of the BLAST autumn season and $162,500 of prize money.
