Xyp9x to replace gla1ve in Astralis at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021

Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth will participate in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021 tournament as a replacement for Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander. This was reported to Dexerto by the sporting director of the club.

gla1ve will take a maternity leave. In March, he said that he was going to become a father in about six months.

Xyp9x missed ESL Pro League Season 14 for an undisclosed reason, and was replaced by Philip "Lucky" Ewald. Currently, the 25-year-old player is training with the team, while gla1ve is there as assistant coach to Danny "zonic" Sørensen.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021 will take place from September 16 to 26. Astralis will compete in Group A with Evil Geniuses, Liquid, and Vitality. The two best teams of the quartet will receive tickets to the BLAST spring season finals.
