OverDrive: Nemiga are testing the player from the academy to replace mds

Nemiga may exclude Alexandr "mds" Rubets from the main team roster. The club is currently testing the youth squad player Alexandr "1eeR" Nagorny to take the place of the 22-year-old Belarusian esports player, as reported by insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov on his Twitter account.

1eeR joined the Nemiga academy team called Zorka in August last year. In February 2021, after a test period, he became a full-fledged member of the roster, taking the role of captain.

mds has been playing for Nemiga since the middle of 2017. During this time, the second place at the CIS RMR-tournament IEM New York 2020 was the team’s most significant achievement.

1eeR will appear on today’s Nemiga match, August 17, in the national qualification for the IESF World Championship 2021. Nagorny will also replace mds in two other upcoming tournaments: IronWar Grand Prix and Malta Vibes Knockout Series 1.
