LNZ will continue to play for NIP at ESL Pro League Season 14
Linus "LNZ" Holtäng will remain in the NIP roster for the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 14 according to the organization’s comments to HLTV.org.
In June, the Swedish organization announced that it would stick to the concept of a roster with four permanent players and one non-permanent slot for a fifth member. Prior to LNZ, this place was taken by Erik "ztr" Gustafsson.
According to the NIP chief operating officer Jonas Gundersen, the goal of the organization is to find a fifth player who would join the team on an ongoing basis. He also added that the upcoming ESL League season will not be the last tournament for LNZ in the team.
It should be reminded that Holtäng joined the main Ninjas roster from the youth squad before the start of IEM Summer 2021. Since then, the 4th place at BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2021 has been the team's best achievement.
NIP will compete in Group D at ESL Pro League S14. The Swedes will face Liquid, FURIA, Gambit, TeamOne, and Entopiq to secure a spot in the playoffs. Only three teams from each group will make it to the decisive stage of the tournament.
