FaZe Clan player Olof "olofmeister" Kaibier believes that at IEM Cologne 2021 many teams have started to make mistakes more often and act less risky than online. The Swedish player's words were published on his Twitter account by tournament operator ESL.

At IEM Cologne 2021 FaZe defeated such teams as Evil Geniuses, Complexity, Team Spirit, Vitality and Heroic. In the quarterfinals of the tournament, the European team have beaten the current top-1 of the world Gambit.
