CS:GO has received a first time history mention in Source 2
The mention of the Valve shooter has appeared directly in the library engine for the first time in the history of leaks regarding the possible transition of CS:GO to Source 2. Author of YouTube channel Gabe Follower, referring to the data from the open source SteamDatabase, has made this announcement on his Twitter account.
According to the published information, together with a major update for Dota 2, developers added csgo line in libengine2 library, which stores all the projects on Source 2. According to the dataminer, Valve is still looking for a way to port CSGO to the new engine, despite the previously encountered difficulties.
