Gambit dismantle G2, one step away from their IEM Summer 2021 championship title
Gambit advance to the IEM Summer 2021 Grand Final. The CIS representative has easily dealt with their opponents from G2 in the semifinals 2-0 on maps, 16:10 on Vertigo and 16:9 on Ancient.
"Big respect and thanks to our analyst and coach, they expected [G2 to pick Ancient]," Abay "Hobbit" Khasenov commented in the aftermatch brief interview "I would say it was 60% of anti-strat and 40% of our game."
The final rivalry of the event between Gambit and OG will take place tomorrow, June 13 at 16:00 CET. The winner will receive $100,000 alongside the championship title for their efforts, while the runner-ups of the event would have to be satisfied with the moderate number of $42,000.
