Gambit over Complexity to IEM Summer 2021 playoffs

In the third round of the lower bracket matches of Group A at IEM Summer 2021, Gambit was stronger than Complexity with the score 2:1 on maps - 16:7 on Mirage, 8:16 on Overpass, and 16:14 on Vertigo. The team from the CIS earned a playoff spot in the quarterfinals, while the Europeans finished their tournament run, despite having chances to extend the series to overtimes on the final map or even winning the whole matchup.

Gambit is currently the only team with a determined playoffs seed. The remaining slots in the playoffs will be filled based on the results of Evil Geniuses - OG, Vitality - G2 and NIP - Virtus.pro matches later today, June 6.
