MAD Lions invited SPELLAN for a test
The Spanish multigaming MAD Lions have announced the addition of Theodore "SPELLAN" Nikolov to their lineup. The 23-year-old Bulgarian will undergo a trial period, and in case of success, he will receive an offer to sign a contract.
We welcome @SPELLANCSGO to take over as the new IGL for the team!

Spellan will first be on a trial period with us, which is something we want to be transparent about.
This is key for us as an organization and for you, our fans, to be part of!#goMAD pic.twitter.com/r69ha9fo5I
The newcomer to the Lions will take the place of Kristers "keen" Dārznieks, who has left the team only two weeks after the new lineup was introduced publicly. According to the official announcement, the 20-year-old Latvian failed to cope with the tasks set for him as an in-game leader.
SPELLAN has been a free agent since January of this year when he parted ways with SKADE, which he had represented as captain since late 2019. His individual ranking at the end of 2020 was exactly one.
The renewed MAD Lions roster debuts today, April 8, as part of the first open qualifying for IEM Summer 2021. Among the qualifiers participants are teams such as ENCE, EXTREMUM, and SAW.
