neL: ALEX declined the offer to head G2 VALORANT lineup
Multiple sources have stated that G2 have been trialing former Cloud9 IGL ALEX as their ingame leader in the VALORANT discipline. But according to insider Guillaume "neL" Rathier multigaming G2 offered former Vitality captain Alex "ALEX" McMeekin to lead the Valorant lineup. This information has been published on Twitter.
ALEX is not ready yet tbh. He must know that he would need time before really switching to VALORANT.

At the end of March, ALEX was spotted in a lineup for European qualifiers for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021. He teamed up with former pro CS:GO player Valentin "mistou" Balbastro in BREF.
The 25-year-old British eSports athlete has been benched since March 26, when Cloud9 have put on hold the CS:GO lineup and put all the members of the roster up for transfer. He has also previously represented big-name teams such as Vitality and LDLC.
