suNny tested positive for COVID right ahead of ESL Pro League S13 playoffs
FunPlus Phoenix stand-in Miikka "suNny" Kemppi has shared on Twitter that he tested positive for coronavirus. He will play his next match at ESL Pro League Season 13 in two days.
COVID-19 peek activated. Feels pretty weird to live without ability to smell and taste tbh. Other than that all good after some days with fever?

sunNy made his debut for FunPlus Phoenix in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 13 and helped the European team get into the top 3 of Group A, which guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. FunPlus Phoenix will face FURIA in the opening main stage match of the event on April 2.
Prior to February 2021, suNny played for ENCE, with whom he won ESL One New York 2018 and BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2020, as well as finishing second at the 2019 CS:GO Asia Championships. HLTV.org ranked the Finnish eSports athlete 16th on their 2018 Best Player of the Year list.
