VP upset Astralis, to the semis at IEM Katowice 2021

Virtus.pro has managed to defeat Astralis in the second quarterfinal match at IEM Katowice 2021. The match ended with the score of 2-1 on maps: 16:10 on Overpass, 12:16 on Train and 16:11 on Inferno.

VP's latest acquisition has shown an outstanding performance throughout the series and has finished the series on top of the scoreboard with almost 100 ADR on all 3 maps combined.

This victory has allowed the CIS team to advance to the semifinals, where Team Liquid is already waiting for them, while Astralis finish their tournament run in 5-6th place, with a pretty modest reward of $40,000 behind their back.
