Infinite gave up CS:GO for Valorant career

American professional CS:GO player Gage "Infinite" Green will continue his eSports career in Valorant. He has signed a contract with NRG, an American multi-gaming organization that will represent him along with former CS pros Chet "Chet" Singh, Damien "daps" Steele and Sam "s0m" Oh.

Green had already tried his hand at Riot's shooter in May this year, where he was close to signing with Cloud9, but returned to CS:GO two months later. He previously attributed his decision to switch disciplines to the fact that the state of the Counter-Strike scene in North America does not allow for the desired income.

Since the beginning of his career in 2017, Infinite has played for such notable clubs as CLG, Dignitas, Singularity, Lazarus, and Chaos. Between November and December of this year, he was temporarily part of ex-Cloud9, which recently signed with Extra Salt.
