Scientists Created AI-Based Anti-Cheat System For CS:GO

A group of scientists at the University of Texas at Dallas has created an anti-cheat that uses artificial intelligence. The development has been originally created for CS:GO, but it can work with other online shooters according to the portal AFK Gaming.

In the course of the study twenty students used cheats for CS:GO on a special server, which helped them to aim, change the speed of movement, and allowed you to see their opponents through the textures. It was found that the forbidden software changes the outgoing traffic, which in turn allows to identify cheaters and on this basis to teach artificial intelligence.

Despite the fact that the experiment was conducted on a small group of players, the scientists stated that their development could be adjusted according to the requirements of the client or developer. Interested companies will also be able to use their own data to configure a unique anti-cheat radar.
