New England Whalers intends to dismiss their line-up

New England Whalers will not extend contracts with the players of the lineup on CS:GO due to funding problems. This is reported on the official website of the American organization.

On November 6th, it was determined internally from the Whalers majority owner and investor, Sean Roche, that the organization would not be able to offer an extension to its top ranked Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) team. Due to the ongoing strain of the global pandemic, the Whalers parent company, Greenhouse Agency, has been severely impacted and forced to sideline the organization. As we continue to navigate our ongoing efforts of our Series A, we look ahead to our return and expansion in esports and gaming content in the near future.

Players of New England Whalers will receive free agent status on December 6 and plan to continue performing together.
