DreamHack will host a femle event with $50 prize pool

DreamHack organizers have announced DreamHack Showdown Winter Female. The tournament with a total prize pool of $ 50,000 will run from 15 to 20 December and will be split into European and North American regions.

Four invited teams and two winners of the qualification will compete for $30,000 in Europe. In the North American part of the event $20,000 will be played out between two owners of the invites and the two best teams from the qualifying tournament.

Showdown Winter 2020 will be the second women's tournament from DreamHack this year. Showdown Summer 2020 took place from July 17 to July 19, the European part of which was won by Originem and the American part by Counter Logic Gaming Red.
