Astralis & G2 advance in group #3 at BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020

In the starting match of group #3 at BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 Astralis took over MIBR. The match ended with a score of 2:1 - 19:16 on Vertigo, 13:16 on Nuke, and 16:5 on Inferno.

Both teams played in a modified composition compared to previous official matches. Astralis returned to the starting five Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth , and the Brazilians played with Vinicius "vsm" Moreira, Leonardo "leo_druNky" Oliveira and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles as stand-ins.

G2 beat FURIA 2:0 in the same group at BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 - 16:10 on Mirage and 16:11 on Nuke. The European line-up made it to the top bracket final, while FURIA will continue its fight in the lower bracket.

The match was the debut for G2 newcomer Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, who replaced Audric "JaCkz" Jug. Earlier coach Damien "maLeK" Marcel said that until the end of the year the team will test different variations of the roster, after which it will choose the fifth player between JaCkz and AmaNEk.

FURIA played against the European team for the first time since February 2020. To perform at the BLAST and IEM Global Challenge 2020 tournaments, the Brazilians moved to boot camp in Europe by the end of this year.

The next match at BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 G2 will be against Astralis as part of the top bracket final.
