When expanding the line-up to seven people, Astralis' management explained this decision by taking care of the physical and psychological health of players, who, with a replacement, will be able to take a vacation at any time. Then analyst Duncan "Thorin" Shields suggested that the signing of Bubzkji and es3tag has nothing to do with caring about the team and is primarily designed to improve the financial situation of the organization through their sale in the future.
On October 15 it became known about the transfer of es3tag to Cloud9. CEO of Astralis Group Nikolaj Nyholm called this transaction one of the largest in the history of professional CS:GO.
