Bymas replaced woxic in mousesports
16-year-old Lithuanian Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras officially replaced Ozgur "woxic" Eker in the line-up of mousesports.
As a direct reaction to our recent results and the ongoing online league play, amid the covid-19 pandemic, we've decided to promote @bymascs to the starting roster to replace @w0xic. pic.twitter.com/XnfYDjvkVk— mousesports (@mousesports) August 27, 2020
The Turkish sniper was moved to the reserve after his performance at ESL One Cologne 2020, where the European team lost all matches and took 13-16th place. This result continued a series of failures - previously the team failed at the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 and two RMR tournaments, which actually deprived it of the opportunity to participate in the major ESL One Rio 2020.
woxic has supported the German organization since early 2019. His place in the main composition will take Bymas, who signed a contract with mousesports on August 10. The role of sniper will be taken over by Chris "chrisJ" de Jong.
The updated composition has less than a week to prepare for ESL Pro League Season 12 for Europe. On September 2, FaZe will be the rival of mousesports in the debut match.
