HLTV.org: TIGER Are Close to Sign smooya & Snappi
TIGER sees Owen "smooya" Butterfield and Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer as a replacement for Bold "ncl" Batsuh and Jesuntumur "nin9" Gantulg. This was reported by the authoritative portal HLTV.org, citing its own sources.
Negotiations with the British sniper, who is currently in the status of a free agent, are at the final stage, while the benched Heroic player will be bought back from the Danish organization if it is possible to agree on a transfer. No other details have been reported yet.
Heroic has been without a team since the end of March when he broke up with Chaos. Rumor has it that German club Sprout was interested in signing it, but the parties have not come to an agreement on the terms of the contract.
Snappi was transferred to the Heroic reserve a month ago, shortly after the breakdown of the notorious transfer deal with FunPlus Phoenix. Among the latest achievements under his leadership was winning DreamHack Open Atlanta 2019, second place at DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019 and third and fourth place at EPICENTER 2019.
In early May TIGER won the Asian tournament ESL One: Road to Rio, earning 1600 points in the RMR rankings. Erdenetzogt's erkaSt Gantulga defeated TYLOO in the Grand Final of the Regional Championship.
