Enthusiast ported Mirage to Half-Life: Alyx
The author of the popular YouTube channel Gabe Follower ported Mirage from CS:GO to Half-Life: Alyx, developed on the Source 2 engine. The enthusiast used home-made tools for developers.
The published teaser uses the map known to any Counter-Strike fan as a location for a VR game from Valve. A full-length video with a gameplay demonstration and detailed information will be released soon.
At the end of March, several sources reported about Valve's shooter switching to Source 2 engine. According to the authoritative insider Tyler McVicker, CS:GO may receive a global update by the end of May. Chinese competition platform B5 named even the exact date - May 18.
