The previous squad of Sangal Esports was disbanded at the end of 2019, despite winning the last season of the Turkish national championship from ESL. The reason for this decision was the club's intention to establish itself on the international CS:GO scene.
Turkey5 made its debut in qualifying for Europe Minor - Rio 2020, but could not advance past 1/32 finals in any of the four open qualifiers. The Turkish team also tried to qualify for ESEA MDL S34 but did not succeed.
The closest matches of Sangal will take place within the regional championship ESL Turkey Championship Spring 2020.
The current Sangal roster:
Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli
Engin "ngiN" Cor
Ahmet "paz" Karakhodja
Cream "l0gicman" Aydın
Anil "FURIOUSS" Bozdogan
Gianpolat "hardstyle" Yildiran (coach)
