KRIMZ sets a new frag record for official matches during main phase
fnatic player Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson finished the main phase of Dust2 in the match against MiBR at ESL Pro League S10 Finals with 44 frags in his asset. According to HLTV.org portal, this figure is a record for LAN-tournaments for all time.
The star Swede broke the record not only for the major tournaments, which set Nikola "NiKo" Kovač with 40 murders in a rivalry against Liquid at the ECS S4 Finals, but also for the CS:GO LAN events as a whole. In 2016, at the Portuguese championship AlienTech CS:GO League Season II Finals Louise "ZEKIN" Lowzada eliminated 43 opponents.
HLTV.org CEO Petar Milovanovic noted on that Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund also scored 44 frags at one of the LAN tournaments, but it was a promo match against the amateur team, and therefore could not be counted in the overall statistics.
