DreamHack banned agents at their tournaments
DreamHack confirmed the latest version of the CS:GO client will be used at the Open tournament in Jönköping with the new players' models that were added to the game November 19 and called "agents". The tournament operator stressed that he had made the decision in accordance with the recommendations of the Association of Professional Players in Counter-Strike (CSPPA).

Agent characters have been criticized by both the community and the professional scene. Players have come to the conclusion that new models can affect competitiveness due to visibility problems in some locations. Earlier, the ECS and ESL organizers reported about the ban on agents at their tournaments.
DreamHack Open Winter 2019 will take place November 29 to December 1 in Jönköping, Sweden. F FURIA, forZe, Tricked, Heroic, CR4ZY, SJ, GODSENT & Marskalk will compete for $100,000 prize pool.
