mousesports triumph at CS:GO Asia Championships 2019
CS:GO Asia Championships 2019 took place November 20-24 in Shanghai, China. The tournament kicked off with a group stage in Double Elimination (GSL) BO3 format, the six finalists of which collided in the Single Elimination BO3 bracket for the lion's share of the prize pool of $500,000.
mousesports started the way to the trophy in Group B, which resulted in the playoffs from the second place. In addition to the European Grand Prix, the next round included TYLOO, ENCE, MiBR, Evil Geniuses & AVANGAR.
In the quarterfinals of the playoffs mousesports have beaten Evil Geniuses & TYLOO in the semis. The match for the title pushed Finn "karrigan" Andersen against ENCE, where the Finns lost 0-2 on the maps. mousesports take the first place CS:GO Asia Championships 2019 and take the cash reward of $250,000.
The title of the strongest player of CS:GO Asia Championships 2019, according to HLTV.org, was awarded to Ozgur "woxic" Ecker.
