ESL One Cologne 2020 will be part of the ESL Pro Tour 2020 series as the Masters Championship and will also bring the champion team a $1 000,000 race advantage in the Intel Grand Slam.
Notably, the $1 000 000 prize pool has been approved for all Masters Championship tournaments in the ESL Pro Tour (currently the annual ESL One Cologne and IEM Katowice), starting with ESL One Cologne 2020. This was announced by ESL Vice President Michal Blichards at a press conference in New York City, where the ESL One NY 2019 playoffs will start today.
