EG make a comeback to the CS:GO scene with NRG roster
U.S. multi-gaming company Evil Geniuses announced its return to Counter-Strike with the signing of an NRG. The deal took place in anticipation of the start of ESL One New York 2019, where Peter "stanislaw" Yarguza's team will face FaZe in the first match.

Evil Geniuses left Counter-Strike in 2012. In 2014, the club was close to returning to the discipline of ex-iBUYPOWER, but due to the scandal with match-fixing, the deal was never made.
Evil Geniuses' newest achievements include 5th-6th place at ESL One Cologne 2019, 3rd place at BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles 2019 and 3rd-4th place at the recent StarLadder Major 2019. The team is currently ranked 4th in the global HLTV.org ranking.
