NiP say a farewell to GeT_RiGhT

One of the undisputed all-time greats, Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, is as of today no longer an active member of the CS:GO roster in Ninjas in Pyjamas. GeT_RiGhT and his team have decided that it’s time for him to take the next step in his career as a player and organization fully supports the decisions made by them.

At the end of June this year, NiP announced that it was looking for a replacement for Christopher Aalesund, who, according to a published statement, was to leave the team immediately after StarLadder Major 2019.

According to Dexerto journalist Jarek "DeKay" Lewis, Simon "twist" Eliasson, who has been in the fnatic reserve since August, will take up his seat in NiP. With the new player, the Swedish Grand will debut at the DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019 in early October.

Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Aalesund has spent more than seven years in the Ninjas in Pyjamas camp. The club has won numerous trophies and prizes with him, including the ESL One Major Cologne 2014, DreamHack Masters Malmo 2016, SL i-League StarSeries S2, IEM Oakland 2016, DreamHack Open Valencia 2017 and IEM Oakland 2017.
