According to the Brazilian portal Mais Esports, which announced the intentions of Luminosity on the eve of the official announcement, the reason for this decision was the recent unsuccessful results of the team. The open stage of the North American qualification to DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019, where the Brazilian team stopped at the stage of 1/8 finals, was considered by the management of the club as the last chance for this squad.
Players will continue to perform together and are currently looking for a new organization. This was announced on Twitter by the coach of the team Rafael "zakk" Fernandez.
Former line-up of Luminosity:
Gabriel "NEKIZ" Chenato
Lucas "steel" Lopez
Ricardo "boltz" Prass
Joao "felps" Vasconcellos (rented from MiBR)
Felipe "skullz" Medeiros (rented from W7M)
Rafael "zakk" Fernandez (coach)
Enrique "HEN1" Teles (bench)
