friberg part ways with Heroic
Heroic announced the end of its cooperation with Adam "Friberg" Friberg. Swedish legionary of the team decided not to extend the expiring contract, after a year and a half of performances under the auspices of the Danish club.
Adam Friberg:
“I’ve played with Heroic for almost 18 months, with my contract expiring I felt like it was
time for a new challenge for me and I am as of today a free agent.
With Heroic I’ve won 2 trophys and countless of upsets against the very best teams in the
world. I’ve had the chance to learn Danish and grow a lot both as a player and person. I
want to thank Heroic for our time together and wish the team & management best of luck
in the future!”
CEO Erik Askered:
“Having a player like Adam Friberg on your team is not just having any other experienced
player. His calm and solution oriented way of dealing with things, whether on- or offline,
has helped both team and org during this period. Adam is a great guy, and I together
with the rest of our management sincerely wish him the best of luck.
Heroic will always keep an open door for you, Mr. Friberg.”
Adam "friberg" Friberg joined Heroic on May 11, 2018. The team's achievements during this period include the Games Clash Masters 2018 and TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok 2018 titles, as well as 3-4 places at the DreamHack Open Austin 2018, DreamHack Open Valencia 2018 and DreamHack Open Winter 2018.
